Empresa Pesquera Polar is an Ecuadorian company dedicated to the extraction and processing of pelagic fish mainly for the production of fishmeal and fish oil.

For more than thirty years, Empresa Pesquera Polar has created an image of seriousness, honesty and quality consistency in local and international markets. 

Since August of the year 2000,  Empresa Pesquera Polar has become the first Ecuadorian fishing company to produce steam dried fishmeal. From this moment we are able to produce special fishmeal with high protein content in a low temperature process. This type of process makes this type of fishmeal an excellent source of nutriment for the shrimp and fish farming industry and to the poultry, and meat industry.
